Manifestation du PARENA ce samedi

Le parti protutsi du PARENA a prévu de manifester samedi 1er septembre pour " montrer au reste du monde son refus des décisions prises à Pretoria le 10 juillet et confirmées à Arusha le 23 juillet 2001 ", a déclaré l'agence de presse burundaise, NetPress. Le parti a également condamné " la nature expéditive du procès des conspirateurs du coup d'Etat menés en secret et dans l'obscurité des plantations bananières de Ngozi [au nord du Burundi] ". Le PARENA condamne également le refus du droit de défense et le recours à d'anciennes méthodes de torture qui caractérisent ce procès.
